Love Our Community Project - F.A.C.E.

Project Overview

The Love Our Community Project brings families together to serve, learn, and lead within their own neighborhoods. The goal is simple: create a space where children and adults work side-by-side on projects that improve lives, uplift families, and build a culture of giving.

This program believes that community service is more than good deeds — it is a way to shape character, build empathy, and empower the next generation.

 What Families Will Do

Participants will take part in scheduled community projects throughout the year such as:

  • Home repair and beautification projects
  • Helping elderly residents and single parents
  • Organizing donation drives
  • Building small structures and household items
  • Community clean-ups and gardening projects
  • Service activities chosen and led by youth

Parents and children will serve together, learning responsibility, teamwork, and pride in seeing a completed project in their own communities.

Why This Matters

Children today learn more by seeing than by hearing. When young people work with their hands to help others, they gain:

  • Respect for hard work
  • Leadership skills
  • Compassion toward others
  • Confidence in their own ability
  • A  stronger connection to the world around them

This program helps families reclaim time together — not through screens or stress — but through real action, shared purpose, and meaningful achievement.
